There is no shortage of WestJet reviews online. Some are in the form of a blog post or Facebook status update, while others are tied to a more formal review site. Last year the pinnacle of global online travel review websites, TripAdvisor, added the option for users to post airline reviews. Since then, the travelling public has rated WestJet and other airlines around the world thousands of times and Trip Advisor has added an airline category to their annual Travellers’ Choice Awards.
We are happy to announce that WestJet has won two awards in the 2017 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards for Airlines. We were named Best Airline in Canada and are the Travellers’ Choice winner, Mid-Sized and Low-Cost Airlines – North America.
Beyond being honoured to win these two awards, being acknowledged based on authentic, organic and real reviews from our guests reinforces the difference that the commitment, dedication and hard work of our 12,000 WestJetters makes. We share this honour with our entire team!
These reviews are also an important tool for you as our guest. By piping up and offering an unbiased opinion, you help keep us on our game. And being on our game led to the reviews, which resulted in these two big awards. So, we owe a huge thanks to all our guests!

Sharing your likes and dislikes gives us a view of our organization that we can sometimes miss for being too close.
